AFDW authorizes HAF badge wear for Honor Guard members

JOINT BASE ANACOSTIA-BOLLING, D.C. --  In accordance with Air Force District of Washington Guidance Memorandum to AFI 36-2903, ceremonial guardsmen and women are eligible for permanent wear of the Headquarters US Air Force badge upon successful completion of their honor guard tour if the member served at least 24 months as a ceremonial guardsman.

Prior ceremonial guardsmen and women who completed their tours before the implementation of the AFDW GM 36-2903 can refer to the memorandum listed below. Absence of an Airman's name does not necessarily mean that the individual is ineligible for the badge.
