The AF Honor Guard Drill Team recently returned from their 2-week tour across three major installations in North and South Dakota.  The team spent time touring through the base and local communities of Grand Forks AFB, N.D., Minot AFB, N.D., and Ellsworth AFB, S.D.

During the tour, the team performed for crowds of Airmen and their families at each base.  Working with AF Recruiting Service, the team performed for the major high schools in each of the base's local communities, explaining AF opportunities to students at each school.  The team also provided a set of special motivational performances for ALS students at Grand Forks AFB and Ellsworth AFB, and also briefied the ALS Airmen about the opportunities to apply for special duty with the AF Honor Guard.  During the final days of the tour, the team took part in a special photo session at the famous Mt. Rushmore National Park, S.D.  These images of the team, captured for the first-time ever in front of the monument, are set to be released in a future AF art poster series.
