Learning to drill
U.S. Air and Space Force Honor Guard students learn the foundation of drill movements with ceremonial weapons during technical training school at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Washington D.C., Nov. 3, 2025. Honor Guard technical school consisted of an eight-week program that trained new ceremonial guardsmen in precise movements, strict discipline and the Honor Guard’s high standards. After completing training, selected graduates joined the Drill Team based on techniques and skills they demonstrated throughout the course.
