60th Anniversary wreath laying

The United States Air Force holds a Wreath Laying Ceremony in honor of celebrating it’s 60th Anniversary Sept. 18, at the Air Force Memorial, Washington. The hosts of today’s event was Secretary of the Air Force Michael W. Wynne, Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. T. Michael Moseley, and Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force (CMSAF) Rodney J. McKinley. Throughout the year, many bases have held their own ceremonies to celebrate its birthday. Member’s from all over the National Capitol Region were here to celebrate this event and be apart of Air Force History. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Rusti Caraker)
