Senior Master Sgt. Todd Tomlinson is the First Sergeant for the United States Air Force Honor Guard, Joint Base Anacostia Bolling, Washington, D.C. He provides leadership and guidance to more than 250 enlisted personnel. He maintains a liaison between the commanders and the squadron's superintendents, in addition to interfacing with multiple agencies across the Air Force District of Washington. He interfaces with the commander and the chiefs on matters influencing the health, welfare, professional development and morale of all assigned personnel.
Sergeant Tomlinson was born in Corning, New York, and enlisted in the Air Force in July 1998 as a law enforcement apprentice. He has a diverse military background serving with security forces, military working dog handler, and as a first sergeant.
