Master Sergeant Jared V. Kimbrough MASTER SERGEANT JARED V. KIMBROUGH Master Sgt. Jared V. Kimbrough is the First Sergeant for the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Washington D.C. He is the commander’s principal advisor on personnel matters affecting 300 ceremonial guardsmen chosen to represent all members, past and present, of the United States Air & Space Force. This includes health, morale, welfare and discipline for all enlisted, officer, and civilian personnel and their families. He advises members on personnel programs, family needs, financial matters, and professional military education. He also enforces compliance with Air Force core values, standards of conduct, and military professionalism. Kimbrough entered active-duty service in December 2009. He graduated from Security Forces Apprentice Course at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas in February 2010. Upon graduating, he received his first duty assignment to the 10th Security Forces Squadron, U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado. Within his 16 years of active-duty service, he has held a variety of positions for the Mission Support Group, Security Forces career field at a multitude of locations to include the U.S. Air Force Academy, Osan Air Base, Ramstein Air Base, and Tinker Air Force Base. Additionally, Kimbrough has served four tours in the Middle East supporting operations INHERENT RESOLVE, FREEDOM’S SENTINAL, and IRAQI FREEDOM. Prior to his current position, he was the first sergeant for the 552d Aircraft Maintenance Squadron at Tinker Air Force Base, Okla.
