SENIOR MASTER SERGEANT SHERRIE' L. LEWIS Senior Master Sergeant Sherrie' Lewis is the first sergeant for the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard, Joint Base Anacostia Bolling, Washington, D.C. She provides leadership and guidance to more than 300 enlisted personnel. She maintains a liaison between the commanders and the squadron's superintendents, in addition to interfacing with multiple agencies across Air Force District of Washington. She interfaces with the commander and the chiefs on matters influencing the health, welfare, professional development and morale of all assigned personnel. Lewis was born in Alameda, Calif., and enlisted in the Air Force in January 1990 as a Liquid Fuels Systems Maintenance Specialist. She has a diverse military background serving with RED HORSE, Civil Engineering, and major command organizations.
